I have for the past several years been working in advocacy and communications in the development sector, which I continue to do part-time. Born and brought up in Delhi - with which I have a hate-hate relationship - I moved bag and baggage to Goa in 2023.

Since childhood, I have had phases when I doodle obsessively. If someone had told me when I started again a couple of months ago that it would lead to this, I would have said that that probability was as remote as of my becoming a marathon runner – anybody who knows me knows the only runners I like are on my tables. But here I am, less than three months later, with Tart, a small art business. 

The idea originated when I set about to create wall art for my home in Goa - and then I guess I just ran (haha) with it! If you’re in search of art to put up on your walls at home or in your office, or are looking for the perfect housewarming gift, Tart could be it.  

A bit about my artwork: it is hand-drawn, primarily using pigment liners and water colours/gouache paints on multimedia or water colour paper. I can almost exactly replicate many of the designs as well as make variations in terms of colours and size, on request. However, where I have used watercolours or other paints and/or not used a grid, exact replicas will not be possible.
